Recently, LG Sonic had the opportunity to participate in the 46th PAWD National Convention and Exhibition, the largest gathering of water professionals in the Philippines. Held at the SMX Convention Center in Bacolod City, the event brought together policymakers, water utility leaders, and industry experts, all focused on shaping the future of water management and sustainability.
Driving Innovation in Water Treatment
As part of the Netherlands Pavilion, we showcased our ultrasound water treatment technology, demonstrating how real-time monitoring and sustainable solutions can help water districts improve water quality. This year’s theme, “Building a Sustainable Water Future,” strongly aligned with our mission to provide innovative and effective water management solutions.
A special highlight was being introduced during the program by our local partner, AGREA. Their commitment to sustainable agriculture and water management made this collaboration especially meaningful, and we appreciate their support in bringing advanced water solutions to the region.
Strengthening International Partnerships
Another key moment was our meeting with H.E. Marielle Geraedts, the Dutch Ambassador to the Philippines, and the Executive Director of the Dutch Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines. It was inspiring to discuss how Dutch expertise in water technology can contribute to solving water challenges in the Philippines. Their support further strengthened the growing collaboration between the Netherlands and the Philippines in advancing water sustainability.
The Embassy of the Netherlands in Manila hosted the PAWD delegation in Bacolod City, reinforcing the collaboration between Dutch and Philippine water sectors. This initiative provided a strong platform for knowledge exchange and strategic discussions on water treatment technology.
Expanding Networks and Industry Insights
Beyond the exhibition, we had valuable discussions with water utility leaders, participated in business matchmaking sessions, and joined insightful panel discussions and breakout sessions. Being part of the Netherlands Pavilion allowed us to connect with industry professionals in a collaborative space, where Dutch companies and experts explored innovative solutions for sustainable water management in the Philippines.
Looking Ahead: A Commitment to Sustainable Water Solutions
We sincerely appreciate the support of AGREA, the Embassy of the Netherlands, the Dutch Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines, PAWD organizers, and everyone we had the opportunity to connect with during the event. The exchange of knowledge, ideas, and expertise continues to drive innovation in water treatment technology.
At LG Sonic, we remain committed to developing sustainable water treatment solutions and fostering strong partnerships to promote cleaner, healthier water for communities. We look forward to building on these collaborations and advancing sustainable water solutions in the years to come.
